Founded in 1864, just a few years after the city of Denver itself was founded, the University of Denver is one of the country’s premier private universities. The University’s 125-acre campus, a few miles south of downtown Denver, is home to more than 11,500 students hailing from all regions of the United States and 83 other countries.

Understanding the Challenges and Setting New Objectives

Members of the Denver Athletics management team did not have a high-level online store to support fans, alumni, parents, and students of the University of Denver.

The Denver Athletics Staff set out to find a vendor that could provide a broad selection of merchandise for alumni, parents, fans, and students of Denver University Athletics. The University of Denver has a wide range of sports programs including Skiing, Hockey, and a championship Lacrosse team. It was important to the Denver Staff to make sure all of these sports were accommodated. Denver also needed the ability to offer personalized hockey and lacrosse jerseys.

The Advanced-Online Solution

Advanced-Online was selected by Denver Athletics to build an online store for all market channels needed with an eye on brand control, revenue enhancement, product quality, and customer service representative of the University.

Advanced-Online took responsibility for building a product line that now stands at over 2000 products including personalized jerseys for several sports, broad choices for alumni apparel, and the largest selection of branded merchandise for Denver Athletics in the country.
